It's one of the biggest moments in the year for basketball and its fans.
The Philadelphia 76ers chose Markelle Fultz as their first pick after they traded with the Boston Celtics earlier in the week.
The LA Lakers followed up by taking the much talked about UCLA guard Lonzo Ball. It's a complex system of picking and trading.
This page explains how it works and who to watch out for.

So what is the draft?
Teams are assigned picks largely based on their win record in the previous season.
The worst team has the best odds of getting the first pick. Brooklyn Nets won the fewest games last season and won the lottery for the number one pick.
However, Brooklyn traded away their picks which is why Philadelphia got to choose first.

"This is what the fans wait for. This is why we watch college basketball so we can get an idea of these guys and so we can fall in love with them on their rookie season and we can really see them grow and develop into the kind of players that will allow the teams to compete with the best in the league," explains Joshua Bateman, a Boston Celtics fan.
For Welsh NBA fan and writer Owen Nelson, he sees the draft as a way for players to improve their lives.
"The NBA draft is so important because it changes the lives of so many young men across America and the world," he tells Newsbeat.
"It's a goal set by millions but only a few actually make it."

The 19-year-old point guard has 1.7m Instagram followers and has only been in college for a year but his father, Lavar, is one of the most outspoken people in sport.
The former American football player said his son was better than two-time NBA most valuable player (MVP) Steph Curry.
The players don't get much of a say in which team they play for, but that didn't stop Lavar Ball from saying his son would play for no-one but the Lakers.
