Cam Newton’s outfits raises some eyebrows; inspires some tweets.

@Claytravis tweets about eccentric cardigan, ripped jeans, scarf and fedora ensemble Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton wore to a postgame news conference Sunday. Newton has gotten attention lately for his clothing choices — last week, he was suspended for one play for not wearing a tie to the game. His outfit Sunday was compared to everything from “Westworld” to John Mayer’s “Paradise Valley” album cover.

Twitter story about an attempt to hit on Uber driver goes viral.

“Her friend was upfront and ain’t notice he had a ring. … Part of me low key wonders if he lied about being married. My anxiety too bad for stuff like this.”

Tyeshea Campbell comments on a BuzzFeed article about Howard University student @KelliAmirah’s viral Twitter story, in which she dramatically detailed her attempts to hit on her Uber driver. [Spoiler Alert!] After she purposefully left her charger in the driver’s car and asked him out, he told her he was married.

.@KelliAmirah Whoa. Just read this whole thread. Best short non-fiction story I've read in a while. What a plot twist, sorry!

White Nationalist gets his Twitter account back — with conditions.

“I would rather his account was closed … but anything that brings his statements under a microscope is fine with me.”

Michelle Mitchell comments on a BuzzFeed article about Twitter reinstating the account of white nationalist leader Richard Spencer, with verification. Twitter said Spencer’s account was reinstated on the condition that he agrees to follow all of Twitter’s rules.

Twitter reinstated and verified account of Nazi Richard Spencer. Report the account, then tell @jack what you think of this wretchedness.

And Twitter restored Richard Spencer's account. Looks like they only cared about preventing hate speech while the pressure was on. https://t.co/IiNJpv21a1
